The Princeton Review unveiled it's annual listing of the nation's top party schools and Iowa snuck in at number 4. All this despite having implemented a 21 only ordinance and increasing law enforcement presence downtown. There is banner coverage in the local media about this, for reasons passing understanding. Personally, I could care less. So people drink here, so what? College students get rowdy. Has always been thus and 'twill always be thus. The sooner people can accept that, the better.
Plus (and not for nothing) if people are going to flip out over party school rankings, this ignores a whole host of issues consuming higher education as we know it. There are more important things to be talking about.
