Yup, embattled Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak grudgingly announced he wouldn't seek re-election in September and vowed never to leave Egypt. Protestors- up to 2 million of them by some accounts were not impressed.
It was a decent parry on Mubarak's part, but I don't think it will be enough. If protestors can keep their momentum- and for now, I'm going to say that they can, then by the end of the week, the pressure of him to go sooner will have ratcheted up to unsustainable levels. I think he's going. And a lot sooner than September.
