Cup O'Tea

It was a good night for the Tea Party last night with their biggest victory of the night coming in the Delaware Senate Primary which Christine O'Donnell won comfortably against party favorite Mike Castle. (In response to this, the NRSC has got its undies in a bunch and issued a statement saying O'Donnell will be getting no love from them.)

I've said it before (probably) and I'll say it again: I'm down with the Tea Party attempting to affect real change in the country, I just don't think it can be done from the inside- the entrenched marriage of politics and business can't be broken up by internal reform, it's going to take people becoming engaged, organizing and forming their own party to take the other two down. We need government that puts individual people first, instead of people and/or interest groups with money first.
